HTC Pyramid is an Android smartphone which is 4.3” handset, and the device will be running on Android 3.0 Honeycomb. Its features include that 4.3” HD display, 1.2GHz processor, 8 MP rear camera with LED flash and a 1.3 MP front-facer. HTC Pyramid would be on Android 2.3, indeed Phone Dog reckons the information should be taken. HTC Pyramid will run on Android 3.0 Honeycomb and likens the phone to the HTC Thunderbolt which has received a huge amount of hype since its release last week.
Although Davies agrees with us that the OS for the Pyramid is more likely to be Android 2.3 he doesn’t rule out 3.0 Honeycomb and points out that it was designed with fragments, which wouldn’t rule out its use on a smartphone but that it might still seem odd to see Honeycomb on a smaller screen.
